Solid cast polyurethane elastomer wheels are similar to solid poly wheels but offer the higher capacities. These wheels are 100% washable, steam cleanable & chemical resistant. These wheels have excellent impact strength, abrasion resistance & compression resistance. They are easy to start rolling and offer a smooth ride. The polyurethane elastomer tread is mechanically locked to a glass filled nylon core which greatly decreases the chance of tread de-bonding failures. These wheels are often used in places poly on metal core wheels cannot be used or if more capacity & durability is needed compared to the other polyurethane wheels.
